Please note successful applicants must prepare on-line applications and on-line credit card payments no later than 30 July 2020. Even if you had already completed your application on-line by March, You can re-apply by this extension measure. and You must refund fees paid until 30 March 2020 first, if they want to submit the payment on-line again. You do not need to do anything to get an IHS refund. It is automatically paid to the account or card you paid with. You will get a full IHS refund either of one of them if you paid twice. If your refund may be delayed due to anything, please contact UKVI International Complaints. It is free.(https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outreach/_static/ukvi-international-complaints.html)(English only) and provide the following details: name, IHS number and your GWF reference number.
Japanese nationals residing overseas can also re-apply by same the method. and Japanese who have no choice but to return to my country because of COVID-19 can also re-apply too.
You will have to attend your appointment at the date you are chosen when you book your appointment on VFS Global webpage.
Customers applying for a non-settlement visa (including YMS etc.) have two options available for submitting their supporting documents.
After you have applied through GOV.UK for your visa, you can upload your documents yourself when you book your biometrics appointment online with VFS Global. If you do not have all your documents immediately to hand, you can log back into your account and continue to upload documents until the day before your biometrics appointment.
If you wish to self-upload your supporting documents, you should refer to the document checklist you received as part of your online application on GOV.UK, so you know which documents are needed, and follow the instructions on the document upload pages. You are responsible for uploading supporting documents for the correct category, so please follow the document upload instructions carefully. Alternatively, you can bring your supporting documents and use our Document Scanning Assistance service at the Visa Application Centre; where we will scan them for you and send them to UK Visas and Immigration (fee usually applies).
If you had already completed your application on-line by March VFS will contact you to re-schedule an appointment as our network of visa application centres (VACs) reopen or you can check on the VFS website for your local VAC.
For customers who have already submitted their passport to the VAC but haven't yet received a decision, we are prioritising processing existing work so you should be contacted with an update shortly, and your continued patience is greatly appreciated.
Your vignette will be valid for 90 days. The vignette is valid for 90 days. If you do not arrive in the UK within this 90 day period you will need to apply for a vignette transfer, the fee for which can be found at www.gov.uk/visa-fees. Details of your permission will be on your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). You must collect your BRP from the following collection point before your vignette expires or within 10 days of arriving in the UK, whichever is the letter. But, you will not be penalised for being unable collect your BRP while coronavirus measures are in place.
If your visa was issued and has now expired you should contact the Coronavirus Immigration Helpline on CIH@HomeOffice.gov.uk (English only). You’ll need to include your name, nationality, date of birth and your GWF reference number with ‘REPLACEMENT 30 DAY VISA’ in the body and the subject line.
